Sol Playground is dedicated to creating beautiful landscapes that enhance outdoor living. We create landscapes that are high interest, but low maintenance. We think outdoor spaces should bring play and pleasure- not the stress of upkeep.
Based in Asheville, NC, our team combines expertise in landscape design, horticulture, and environmental sustainability to curate spaces that are not only visually appealing but also ecologically minded. We transform ordinary areas into extraordinary outdoor experiences.
Our Designer
Brannon Williams
With over 40 years of life in the outdoors, Brannon knows how to appreciate nature‘s little details. Blending backgrounds in art, environmental sciences, and landscape design, Brannon has been composing well thought-out landscapes for over a decade. Bringing degrees in Environmental Technology/ Management and Landscape Design from North Carolina State University- one of the nation's top horticultural programs.
With several years doing environmental site assessments, Brannon saw how ecological factors play a role in site design- and could make or break a project. Brannon knows how to read the land and identify spots of value or concern in a way that can make his landscapes both practical and beautiful.
Brannon's passion and proficiency with plants is hard to match. He takes real care to assure plants are well suited for a site and perfectly placed. He's a real expert who can work with natives or find you unique species that you'll want to show off and learn more about.
Brannon cares most for what the landscape can do for the people around it- getting people outside, in joy, together- in the beauty of Western North Carolina.
